2025 NFL Wild Card Weekend: Commanders vs. Bucs

The Sunday slate of playoff games will come to an end with an NFC matchup between the Washington Commanders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Commanders lead the all-time regular-season series, 12-11, and have won three of their four most-recent meetings. However, the last time they faced off was at the beginning of the 2024 NFL season, the Buccaneers got a big home win in Tampa, 37-20.

These teams have also met three times in the postseason, most recently back in January 2021, when the Bucs won in the NFC Wild Card round, 31-23. The away team has won the last two playoff meetings.
