Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal out second half vs Lakers with left hamstring soreness

LOS ANGELES — Phoenix Suns‘ guard Bradley Beal was ruled out of the second half of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena with left hamstring soreness.

Two-way player Collin Gillespie started the second half for Beal.

Beal has been dealing with a left calf injury that sidelined him two games against New Orleans. He scored just four points on 2-of-6 shooting in 15 minutes of the first half of Sunday’s game.

The Suns trailed, 54-37, at the break.

Playing 48 games, Beal has had injuries to his right shoulder, right elbow, right knee, left ankle, left great toe, left calf and now left hamstring soreness.

The Raptors defeated the Suns in Toronto, 127-109, last month, hitting a 3 on each of their final seven possessions.
