LA Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford’s Two Daughters Hospitalized After Suffering Medical Crisis

Matthew Stafford of the LA Rams has had a turbulent weekend following a medical crisis that landed two of his daughters in hospital.

The Los Angeles Rams are set to face the Minnesota Vikings at the Slate Farm Stadium in Arizona at 8 PM ET on Monday. Officials changed the location of the NFL game from the SoFi Stadium in California amid concerns about the fires engulfing LA.

Unfortunately for Stafford, the fires aren’t the only thing he is worrying about right now. His wife, Kelly Stafford, revealed an illness landed her and two of her daughters in hospital. According to The Daily Mail, Kelly, who has over 400,000 followers on Instagram, posted that she and her daughters were recovering from an illness in hospital.

Kelly posted an image of her daughters in a hospital bed with the caption, “Last night was long. Back in bed and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. Feels like she drank a Celsius.”

While Kelly was vague about the reasons for the hospital visit, the Daily Mail alleges that it may have been due to an illness the family has been struggling with for the past week.

During an episode of her ‘Morning After’ podcast on January 7th, she said, “I can’t think straight; I currently believe I have the flu. Two of my daughters have the flu.” Kelly also revealed she was struggling during the LA Rams Vs. Seahawks match on January 5th, explaining she was “unable to move. I passed out on a little bench in the suite.”

Kelly also suggested that she wanted to avoid Matthew getting sick, saying, “If all my kids have the flu, I don’t think we should be in this house with him.” In the aftermath, Kelly posted another image of her daughters sleeping with the caption “Never ending. My poor girls.”

Fortunately, Kelly also revealed that the kids are fine in a later post, stating, “Before that tho, they were all smiles getting to go with daddy on his work trip.”

The devastating fires have had an enormous impact on countless lives across LA. In light of the disaster, Matthew, Kelly, and their children shared this message on social media:

“These fires are truly terrifying. Praying for all the firefighters and their loved ones. Yes, homes and structures are important, but never more important than a life. Please stay safe.”
