NFL Best Bets: Mike Evans prop bets against the Buccaneers

The Buccaneers are visiting the Cowboys for Week 16’s edition of Sunday Night Football. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Tampa Bay is a four-point favorite and this game’s total is set at 47.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Mike Evans prop to consider from this contest.

As Evans chases his 11th consecutive 1,000-yard season, which would tie Jerry Rice for the all-time record and reward Evans a $3 million dollar incentive, the receiver has been brilliant recently, with 6.5 receptions and 103.5 receiving yards per game in his past four starts.

Evans needs 251 receiving yards in his final three games to reach 1,000 and Baker Mayfield told the media “I’m thinking about it more than Mike is” when asked about Evans’ attempt to catch Rice’s all-time record.

Mayfield has been feeding Evans, with the wideout leading Tampa Bay with a 28.8% target share in the team’s last four games and during this stretch, Evans has had a reception of at least 27 yards in three of those four contests. Evans ranks eighth in YPRR this season (2.44) and he should continue to see heavy volume this Sunday night vs. the Cowboys, which is a prime spot for Evans to surpass 26.5 yards on his longest catch.

Dallas is giving up the second-most yards per pass (7.3) and the fifth-most yards after the catch (1,886) this season, and Evans needs to be backed for this over on DraftKings Sportsbook.
