Ravens vs. Browns live updates: NFL scores, game stats, highlights, where to watch Saturday Week 18 game

Baltimore Ravens receiver Rashod Bateman is slow to get up after taking a hard hit on an incomplete pass from Lamar Jackson over the middle of the field.

Oh goodness. The Browns punt by Corey Bojorquez is shanked, and the Ravens will get the ball at midfield.

With that sack, Kyle Van Noy just made $250,000. Not too shabby.

This season, DTR is 0-2 as the Browns starter and has completed 51.3% of his passes in six total games played

After three drives with Bailey Zappe, Dorian Thompson-Robinson is now in at quarterback. Head coach Kevin Stefanski did note earlier this week that there was an opportunity to play both quarterbacks in this game.

I would’ve just hammered Derrick Henry in that spot. Lamar Jackson nearly completed a skyhook pass to him for a touchdown, but it’s a turnover on downs.

A key question I have if the Ravens build up a big enough lead — Does Harbaugh take out some of his key starters in the second half? Will be a fascinating balancing act.

That said, it’s a masterful decision if they are aiming to lose this game and secure a top-three draft pick.

Hate that decision for Kevin Stefanski. I get this is a 3-13 team, but this offense isn’t capable of converting in that spot. Punt it away and give your defense a chance.

That was Bailey Zappe’s second career pick-six. Meanwhile, it’s the second pick-six for the Ravens in the last three weeks (Marlon Humphrey in Week 16 vs PIT).

Nate Wiggins jumps the route and picks off Bailey Zappe for his first career interception. Not only that, but it’s a 26-yard pick-6. Not too shabby for the 2024 first-round pick.

Oh boy. That’s a rough drop by Zay Flowers. Had his defender beat for a first down, but couldn’t reel it in after getting hit in the hands.

Lamar Jackson is such a cheap code. He watches 57 on Cleveland crash down on the running back on the read option, pulls it back, and rushes for a casual 19-yard gain.

Roquan Smith was a menace on that third down. He crashed through the line completely untouched for the TFL.

Worth noting that the Browns are missing some key figures in the backfield with Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong Jr. ruled out before this contest.

The Ravens can lock up the division title with a victory. The Browns have been done for a long time. The Cleveland offense has been bad the past month, while the Ravens can score on anybody. Lamar Jackson has another big day as the Ravens roll.

Derrick Henry comes into this game with 1,783 rushing yards on the season, which is second-most in the league. He can become just the sixth player in NFL history to finish top-two in rushing yards in five different seasons.

The Baltimore Ravens are currently a 20-point favorite over the Cleveland Browns in this matchup. That is the largest spread as a favorite in Ravens franchise history. Meanwhile, it’s the Browns largest spread as an underdog since 1975. The Browns are 0-5 SU and ATS over the last five games, while Baltimore is 3-0 SU and ATS since the bye.

Bailey Zappe will get the start at quarterback for the Browns today. The former fourth-round pick of the New England Patriots is 4-4 as a starter. However, he’s thrown zero passing touchdowns and five interceptions and five interceptions in his previous two starts (both with the Patriots). Zappe is the 40th starting quarterback for the browns since 1999 (most in the NFL over that span).

Quaterback Lamar Jackson has two MVPs already and could bring home a third this year, as one of the front runners for the award.

Running back Derek Henry, who is second in the league in rushing with 1,783 yards, turns 31 today.

Lamar Jackson’s MVP run: The Ravens QB has 3,955 passing yards, 39-4 TD-INT ratio, 852 rushing yards, and a 121.6 passer rating entering Week 18.

  • Would be 1st season ever with 4,000+ pass yards & 800+ rush yards
  • Would be 1st season ever with 40+ pass TD & 800+ rush yards
  • Would be 1st season ever with 40+ pass TD & fewer than 5 INT
  • 2nd-highest passer rating (121.6) in a season in NFL history (2011 Aaron Rodgers, 122.5)
  • On pace to be the 2nd player in NFL history to lead the NFL in yds/att and yds/rush (2012 Robert Griffin III)

Heading into Week 18, Myles Garrett is tied with Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson for most sacks in the league with 14. Garrett has never led the league in sacks, but has a chance to this year.

Browns’ QB1 warming up ahead of the season finale:

If the Ravens come out on top and win the AFC North, they’d be just the second team ever to win its division by multiple games after trailing by multiple games with four weeks remaining. Would be a rather remarkable late-season surge.
