Beyoncé made her highly-anticipated Christmas Day Halftime show a family affair.
During the NFL game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans on Netflix, the superstar brought the house down with a nearly 13-minute long musical extravaganza, which featured the first live performances of songs from her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter.
For the performance, she recruited a few of the album’s collaborators to join the stage with her, including Tanner Adell, Post Malone, and Shaboozey. For one particularly special moment during the show, Beyoncé’s oldest child, Blue Ivy, even made a cameo. The 12 year old joined the marching band and a line of dancers to square dance to “My House” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
Blue matched with her mother and the other dancers in an all-white outfit. While Beyoncé wore a white bodysuit with a silver Western-theme studded pattern with fringe-trimmed chaps and sparkling sequined boots, Blue followed suit in an icy white corset paired with fringe-lined pants and white heeled boots. Both mother and daughter topped off their respective looks with white cowboy hats and diamond necklaces. Blue additionally supported her mom’s performance by wearing a red-white-and-blue sash that read “Cowboy Carter,” which the other dancers also wore.

In the past month, the duo made a few rare joint appearances ahead of the release of Mufasa, Disney’s live-action prequel to The Lion King, which features voice acting work from both Beyoncé and Blue. They attended the movie’s premiere together with dad Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles. Disney also recently shared a behind-the-scenes interview of the two in the recording studio during the making of the movie.
“She did such a beautiful job and I can’t believe how natural she is,” Beyoncé said in the video. “And I’m just proud of you. I’m so proud of you. And I can’t believe how big and grown-up you are. … Nobody’s prouder than mommy.”
