What Is Jessica Alba’s Net Worth?

Nary a day goes by without a random celebrity launching a beauty or tequila brand, and for the most part these endeavors flop. But some celebrities have THE Midas touch when it comes to the pivot to capitalism, and an even smaller percentage of those celebs become so successful that their businesses are valued in the billions. We’re talking the likes of Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, and Jessica Alba—whose company Honest was one of the first celebrity brands to fully explode in the consumer market. Let’s dig into the specifics, shall we?

A Journey Through Honest’s Ups and Downs

Back in 2016, Forbes put Jessica’s net worth at $340 million thanks in large part to The Honest Company (which at that point was only 5 years old and already valued at $1.7 billion). However, in 2021 (when The Honest Company went public) Forbes updated everyone with this nugget of info: “Even at the high end of the pricing range, Alba’s 6% stake (including options) would only be worth just under $100 million. That is far less than the $340 million Forbes estimated she was worth when we estimated her stake to be 20% and put her on our 2016 list of America’s most successful self-made women.”

The company then lost value due to supply chain “challenges,” and The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Jessica’s stake in the company “declined in value to just over $27 million, from about $130 million in the IPO.” They also reported that she was paid nearly $8 million in 2021, made up from a $6 million stock award, a $563,077 salary, and a $1.4 million bonus.

Cut to 2024, and Jessica decided to step away from her leadership role at the brand.

“It is with a grateful heart that twelve years after founding The Honest Company, I am stepping down from my leadership role as Chief Creative Officer,” she wrote in part on Instagram. “However, I will continue to provide strategic advice through my role on the board.”

“Building Honest has been a true labor of love,” she continued. “From the first concept book I pitched to my friends in Mommy and Me class, to ringing the bell at Nasdaq with my family by my side – this journey has been the ride of a lifetime, one that only existed in my wildest dreams.”

It’s unclear what Jessica makes per film/TV project since contracts are typically kept under wraps (rude!), but we do know what she has tied up in real estate. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jessica bought a $10 million Beverly Hills mansion in 2017. She previously owned a home that she bought for just over $4 million and sold for just over $6 million in 2019.

Does She…Have a Prenup?

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren (who has a net worth of $50 million, just fyi!) appear to be headed for divorce, and naturally inquiring minds want to know if they have a prenup in place.

According to TMZ, no one knows. Which might have something to do with the fact that these two got together when they were pretty young (they met in 2004). This also means that the majority of their career highs have been achieved while married (including the launch of The Honest Company) so unraveling everything could get…complicated!

So, What’s Jessica’s Total Net Worth in 2025?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, that’d be $100 million. Less than a third of her net worth in 2016, but still plenty (by which we mean mind boggling amounts!) of money.
