NCAA TOURNAMENT
NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament
Women’s March Madness has been nothing short of thrilling, with just 16 teams left in the running for a national championship.
The Sweet 16 is here, and the bracket has played out without a major Cinderella run. While an underdog hasn’t become every neutral fan’s favorite this year, it also means that the biggest programs have come through, ensuring that some of the biggest names in the game still have a shot at cutting down the nets.
That includes No. 1 seeds UCLA, South Carolina, Texas, and USC, though the Trojans lost National Player of the Year front-runner JuJu Watkins to a torn ACL on Monday. Paige Bueckers and UConn have been impressive, while teams like Maryland and Kansas State survived overtime thrillers to get to this stage. Given the drama we’ve already been treated to in the first two rounds, you won’t want to miss the Sweet 16.
